Products I love and new foundation HELP

Hello!

I thought I'd ramble on about some of the products I have used continually over the years and do not intend to stop using... ever...

Urban Decay Primer Potion

The first products has been a beauty favourite for what feels like millennia! Due to the fact I wear eyeshadow almost every day (Sleek palettes are my favourite, closely followed by MAC) I wear this product every day without fail. It especially helped over my younger teenage years when I had ridiculously oily skin and eyelids. It just helps everything stay on - particularly when I'm on a night out when I go all out on eye make up (it usually takes me about an hour just for eyes if I'm not being lazy). I had it waaaaaay back when the packaging came with the wand and the new tube packaging is definitely much more convenient. My one is an extra large product too because my mum bought it from America!

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream

I bought this cream at the duty free counter on the ferry to France, along with the lip balm thrown in for free. The lip balm is my absolute saviour! I have both the Lip Protectant (stick)  and the Nourishing Lip Balm (tube) and I have to say I prefer the tube as it is more of a creamy texture. It also has a higher SPF, which I used a lot whilst on holiday in Sri Lanka this year - I burn so badly, English Rose complexion is the bain of my life!

I use the Eight Hour Cream on my eyebrows of all places! I brush a little through my brows after pencilling just to set them. The smell fades throughout the day. I thought to do it one day after reading it on the back of the tube. It's a great way to save money on more eyebrow products by using a multi-tasking product!

Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara

This mascara is literally the best thing I have ever used! It claims to have a lash grow complex and fibres inside. I can't say I've ever experienced major lash growth but the fibres are definitely visible. I once used this mascara on false eyelashes, and they just kept growing longer and longer because each time I popped a little mascara on the ends the fibres built up. The only thing I could fault is that I do get smudging, but I do wear non-waterproof. I use an AVON waterproof mascara over the top of this one and it holds it in place all day. I think it is around £9 which is a little bit on the pricey end for drugstore mascaras, but Rimmel are ALWAYS doing an offer and I often pick this mascara up for as little as £4.99 (in fact, I stock up during these offers!)

(Foundation help...!)

Being very pale skinned means I suffer finding the correct foundation shade. I also suffer with minor acne (although it has flared up again recently which makes me sad). I have currently been using Estee Lauder Double Wear mixed with Clarins Skin Illusion foundations to get the correct shade and coverage but now both of my bottles of these have run out it is becoming a false economy to keep replacing them. I turn to you - people of the world. I would love it if I could get some recommendations for a foundation which is fairly reasonable priced, available in light shades, long wearing and a fairly matt finish (I know, I don't ask for much do I haha!)

Leave me a comment in the box below if you have any suggestions!

Introductions...

Hello!

My name is Kelly and I'm an 18 year old student. I'm originally from the West Midlands but in two weeks' time I am moving to London to start a degree in Biology at Imperial College London. I hope to blog about things I get up to in London - I've never lived in a city that big so I'm sure it will be a bit of a culture shock!

I also really love fashion and beauty - so you guys will probably see some posts about that on here too (now I just need to get a decent camera - thank god for HD cameras on phones for now!)

So, please follow and share - I'd be happy to follow back. I hope you enjoy my little rambles in the future!

Ciao! Xo
